PowerTime© Boutique Boat Management

What if the boat you love paid for itself?

Most boats sit at the dock 90% of the time. Through our PowerTime© boat management program, your boat generates revenue every month while being professionally managed, maintained, and insured. You keep ownership. You keep access. And your boat pays you back.

01

Purchase Your Vessel

Explore our curated fleet of Scandinavian-built vessels. Financing available through our marine lending partners.

02

Place It in the Fleet

Your boat joins the PowerTime© Boston fleet. A small group of vetted, trained members are matched to your vessel. You retain full ownership and priority-scheduled personal access, reserved in advance through the app.

03

Earn Monthly Revenue

Members pay monthly fees. We handle scheduling, cleaning, maintenance, fuel, insurance, and slip fees. You collect your share every month. Actual revenue varies by boat, season, and demand.

Traditional Ownership

Revenue Potential

The program is designed to offset a significant portion of your annual carrying costs — and in a well-run season, member revenue can cover most or all of them. Every boat is different, so we build a custom pro forma around yours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Buy a boat through Boston Yacht Group and place it into our boutique management program, powered by PowerTime©. We handle the dirty work — slip, insurance, maintenance, detailing, storage, and scheduling — while you enjoy guaranteed access and earn revenue when you are not aboard. Your boat becomes a performing asset instead of a depreciating expense.

Yes. You are the sole owner with guaranteed monthly usage through the same proprietary scheduling system SailTime has refined over 25 years. Plan up to a year in advance from the Embark® app on your phone or computer, or grab last-minute openings within 36 hours of departure. You choose how much time is yours and how much to share — more time, or more revenue.

Everything behind the scenes: marina and slip fees, full commercial marine insurance, routine and preventative maintenance, repairs, detailing, and storage. Every time your boat departs or returns, your local base manager is notified automatically through the Embark® app. You simply show up with the fuel and water topped off and go boating.

No. We are not a charter. The small group of members we place on your boat are fully trained on every system and on boating safety, and they use the same boat each time. They take pride in the boat and treat it like they own it too — which is exactly how your asset stays in showroom condition.

We work with established marine lenders to structure competitive financing. Many buyers find that consistent revenue from the management program offsets a significant portion of their monthly payment, making real ownership more affordable than they expected.

We handle full winterization, storage, and spring commissioning, so your boat is professionally cared for year-round. Many of our Scandinavian vessels are built for extended-season New England use with diesel heaters and enclosed cockpits, stretching your time on the water well beyond summer.

Sea trials launch from our base at 256 Marginal St in East Boston, right on Boston Harbor. You will experience the boat in real conditions with Captain Paul at the helm.

Yes. As Boston's exclusive Aquador dealer, we can spec and order a factory-built Aquador to your exact preferences — engine choice, electronics, color, and interior configuration. The Aquador 300 HT is available as a build-to-order today.

What Our Members Say

Real reviews from members and clients of Captain Paul's Boston programs.

"I have been a member for over seven years. The model works for me. You don't carry the expense of owning a boat outright, and you still get a lot of time out on the water throughout the season."

"The boats are kept clean and in great repair, and it's great knowing the boat is going to be ready to go for me and my guests when I show up at the dock. You're assigned to one boat for the season, so you really get to know it, almost like it's your own."
